Greene County Veteran's Services

The main purpose of the Veterans Service Office is to be an advocate for the veteran and his/her dependents.

Secondly, we assist veterans and their dependents in obtaining any and all veteran's benefits they are entitled to. Benefits available, but not limited to, are: non service-connected pension, widow's pension, service-connected compensation, educational benefits, hospital eligibility claims, and ordering of medal/ribbons entitled to. We also offer proof of military service, service medical records and any other military records requested.

We visit funeral homes, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and personal homes for those confined to home.

It is the desire of the service officer and staff to treat our veterans with the utmost respect and dignity and to go above and beyond our call of duty to help those who allow us to have and enjoy the freedoms we have today.
